9th International Conference on Isotopes and Expo (9ICI)

2017-06-08

Dear Colleague,

By popular demand we have extended the abstract submissions for the 9th International Conference on Isotopes and Expo (9ICI) to 26 June! The 9ICI will bring together isotope users and producers and specialists in nuclear forensics, monitoring, and operations.  Please join us at the Marriot Marquis Hotel, Doha, Qatar, 12-16 November 2017—a world class venue and place where you can experience “old world hospitality with cosmopolitan sophistication”.  Our focus is to provide a forum to promote technical excellence and ample network opportunities. At the same time, you will be able to enjoy Qatar’s rich cultural heritage.

ICI conferences are a rare opportunity for isotope researchers, developers, and producers to come together in one place to share the uses of safe and environmentally sound isotope technologies. For the first time we will host the ICI in the Middle East, one of the most important emerging markets for isotope applications and technology.

With participation of more than 500 researcher and industry participant, we expect to have more than 300 scientific and technical presentations and posters conveying breaking scientific research. Abstracts will be peer reviewed as they are received and authors notified.

This year’s conference incorporates seven thematic tracks as follows:

• Isotope Production and Devices
• Isotope Research and Applications
• Isotopes in the Environment
• Security of Supply, Safety, and Transportation
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• Policy, Economics, and Global Impact of Isotope Production and Use
• Design, Construction, Operation, and Decommissioning of Production Facilities

The conference scientific preliminary program is available online: www.9ici.org as well as abstract, poster and panel submission instructions.

We are gratified for the strong international support we have received from so many of our distinguished colleagues and their willingness to help advance this conference.

Joining us as Plenary Speakers will be:
